Theme - FOREIGN LANGUAGES

The theme for singing a song that is in another language was a long week! I ended up doing 4 songs, 3 of which are included here. This particular song was memorable from the opening credits of the direct to video Jackass 3.5 movie. This also took the longest to learn vocally, which I essentially recorded line by line. The high pitch "woo ooo" backing vocal was just a bit too high to sing without sounding forced, so I asked Dean to do that bit for me. Curtis played drums and Owen played the horns on MIDI. The video was shot at the old Harbor Terminal building in Detroit, Michigan. The 4th foreign language song that is not included here was a Tom Waits song for which I also filmed the music video for in the same building. But, as that song was credited to Toby, as most Tom Waits songs are, I will release a separate release of just songs for Toby. Granted, it may very well be nothing BUT Tom Waits songs, but only time will tell.
