Theme - SONGS OF THE 70's

Aside from pre-1950's, I don't know if you could find a period of time whose music failed to resonant with me more than the early 70's. Paul Simon did have a few good albums though, so I thought I'd go for one of those. American Tune comes from his second solo album, There Goes Rhymin' Simon, released in 1973. Joining me on this song is Kris Hauch on acoustic guitars (the complexity of the fingerpicking on this song intimidated me too much to try to learn myself). I sang, mixed and assembled a hasty video.
