about

Part of the /NaSoAlMo challenge on reddit, this album was started from scratch with no pre-written lyrics or music on November 1st and was written and recorded entirely by myself within the confines of 1 month. The album must be at least 29:09 in length and may also contain one cover song, if I'd wanted to go that route.

Track Name: That's me Moira
I met her at the Stop Spot
This karaoke bar
I said I just don’t feel it
I could never be so wrong

She moved in fairly early
And turned my life around
She’s my inspiration
She’s everything I need

Oh that’s me Moira
She lifts me when I’m down
The muse behind the music
And loves the way I sound

I’d say we’re very happy
Ask anyone, you’ll see
I’ve searched for years to find her
this is where I wanna be
Track Name: Theme Polka
Fearless leader was a green man
With a box weighing just 3 lbs
And he sets bi-weekly themes in motion
For the mechanical sights and sounds

Uncle Brogan was caught fenstering
With a mallet and a wooden spoon
But his antics and his diatribes
Were all too much for YouTube

And I’d gamble Mr. Gamble
Doesn’t have time for me this week
He’s too busy playing baccarat
And lighting out for the territories

Mr. Killingsworth got his money’s worth
When he took on a unicorn
He’s a troublemaker and a bully
And he’s at the wrong end of the horn

Now Uncle Daly and Ms. O’Malley
Takes singing lessons from Ms. Ediss
And I would take the fish guns from out of your mouths
But we’ve been scooped and they wouldn’t let us

And if you’ve got a song for Mr. Melançon
You have to clear it with the Time King
He spends his days earthworming
To find a tune with a diamond ring

And in the belly of Tim Terelli
Lies a terrifying pounding beat
While he keeps them all for his harem
He’ll never give you one to eat

Where’s a Northrup before I give up
He was searching for a Carey bone
But he doesn’t have a Phillips or a Clark or Mitsch
So he’ll throw in an organ at home

And Dr. Jensen has a penchant
For bringing the monkeys to stage
And when you see Bobo in the flesh
You’ll wonder what happened to your pants
